Clever Yachting Sailing Courses
Why following a Clever Yachting sailing course in the Algarve?
The climate: Due to the Algarve's position, it can almost be guaranteed that students will follow their course in perfect sailing conditions. The average sunshine over the years is almost 90% and the Algarvian coastline can count on many days with a perfect wind for sailing. Together with day time temperatures between 16 (Winter) and 35 degrees Celsius (Summer) the sailing courses are held throughout the year.
The location: The Marina de Portimão, the home port of Clever Yachting is a magnificent development. The Marina boasts all modern Marina facilities. It has its own exclusive beach, a 4 Star Hotel, swimming pools and a beautiful promenade full of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops.
The philosophy behind the sailing course: The "basic ideas" behind the Sailing Courses of Clever Yachting differ from most of the other available courses and these are:
- you will be staying in a 4 Star Hotel or Apartment with swimming pool near the beach (instead of sharing the accommodation on the yacht with "strangers") - accommodation for your partner or your family member is free - your partner can enjoy beach, golf, horse riding, surfing etc. , while you attend the sailing course. - after the daily Happy Hour on board (your partner is welcome!) you will free to enjoy a private evening.
Maximum number of students per sailing course: 5
The courses take place on the Clever Clipper, a Stern 41, moored in the Marina of Portimão, starting on a Monday and ending on Friday evening.
